Since our food pantry is no longer open to help those in the community, news of another active group has come to the attention of one of our members, Esther Neville.
Neighbors Being Human - Mission and Outreach
Neighbors Being Human at St Andrew's Episcopal Church Food Pantry at 244 East Main Street, Yaphank, NY provides free food (Sun: 11 AM – 1 PM · Tue, Thu: 6:30 PM – 8 PM ET). Walk in, no appointment needed. Open to all regardless of where you live, income, or immigration status. No appointment needed. Only name, address, and phone number required; no documentation needed.
Current needs are :
Foods: specifically:
peanut butter and jelly,
tomato sauce,
chunky and Progresso soups,
tuna and canned chicken,
canned sausages along with other canned meats,
cereals, oats, and other breakfast foods.
Other needs: cooking oil, laundry detergent, dish washing
detergent, toiletries, etc.
Clothes: new socks and underwear.
