Welcome to our video highlight. Each week or so, we try to have a new video to view that will serve to show the United Methodist Church at work. Our church is a global church and, therefore, in a state of constant movement. So, we'll keep an eye out and bring you videos that will show you what's happening in the global ministry of our church.
This week's video was found through the United Methodist Church's national site. "Maritza’s Ministry: Sharing Gods Love at Mexican Border". The video descriptive states, "Waiting for asylum paperwork to be processed can mean hours or weeks standing in line at the U.S.-Mexico border. Some families journey up to a month before reaching this place, not knowing if they will be turned away. Maritza Velazquez-Corta, an immigrant herself, brings food, blankets and hope to those who are waiting".
